Meet the Team

Karla is proud to be a practicing hygienist for 40 years, 36 of which were with Dr. Walpole’s predecessor here at the office, Dr. Curran! She decided to become a hygienist early in her high school years and has loved her career choice. Karla loves getting to know her patients in a small setting. She enjoys keeping current with dental treatments, information, and products. In 2017 she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, and this forced her to look at life in a different light. Being in remission to an incurable cancer is a huge part of her story. She has been married to her husband Mark for 34 years and loves being a mom to her twins, Molly and Ben. Her newest hobby is vegetable gardening and canning, and she loves to travel.
